OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead healthcare projects and join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in project delivery, strong leadership, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders across business and technical teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
Develop, maintain, and enforce governance framework
Coordinate, prepare, and manage documentation for governance meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on actions, decisions, and risk items.
Maintain accurate governance membership records, manage onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensure appropriate access to governance tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Prepare regular governance reports summarizing attendance, tracking actions, resource utilization, and key updates.
Monitor and track governance decisions, risks, and action items across workstreams using standardized tools
Supervise and guide Governance Coordinators to ensure uniform application of governance standards, procedures, and workflows across all groups.
Drive continuous improvement in governance processes by leveraging feedback, performance metrics, and best practice methodologies.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
Post-secondary education in health-related discipline or an equivalent training and relevant experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management role within a Canadian healthcare setting, managing or participating in governance processes for clinical transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to translate governance decisions into project schedules and manage governance processes tailored to Clinical Information System (CIS) projects (e.g., EHRs, EMRs, or digital health IT transformation projects)
Minimum 3 years of experience developing and maintaining governance documentation
Demonstrated experience creating governance reports and managing decision and risk logs and formal training in dynamic forecast scheduling for healthcare CIS projects
Minimum 3 years of experience managing stakeholders, and governance models within complex healthcare CIS projects
Bilingual proficiency in English and French considered an asset
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification considered an asset
