In this role at RAC, you will be supporting RAC businesses, working closely across the CFO team to support strategy formulation and execution through forecast and budgeting, performance reporting, financial modelling, analytics and advice. The Group Finance team ensures RAC Group's financial health by working closely together in various areas. As RAC aims to be a purpose-driven organisation, you'll play a part by embodying company wide behaviours, focusing on member needs, and contributing to a better Western Australia. What will you be doing? Maintain and enhance financial models, including driver-based planning, scenario analysis, and predictive analytics. Support strong data governance by collaborating closely with the Data Analytics team. Identify and contribute to business process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, including thorough documentation of processes. Collate and transform data for regular compliance reporting across the RAC Group. Deliver reporting and accounting processes that improve the communication of financial information across Group Finance and supported RAC businesses. Provide support for, or lead, various financial reporting process improvement initiatives. Prepare ad-hoc reports to measure business performance against strategic objectives. Assist in cost allocation model processes to ensure accurate and timely cost distribution. What are we looking for in you? Demonstrated experience in Management Accounting and/or Financial Accounting, along with a track record of working in cross-functional teams, ideally within medium to large organisations. Proficiency in Data Analytics, Financial and Management Accounting and Reporting, familiarity with finance accounting processes, and experience with Business Intelligence tools and planning tools for workflow optimisation. Strong time management and organisational skills essential for effective performance in the role. Ability to foster positive workplace relationships, collaborate effectively within teams, and operate within a Values-based organisation. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Strategy Analysis, or related disciplines required, with preference for CA or CPA certification. What can we offer you?
