The IT Support Technician (L1) supports the efficient day-to-day operations of the IT department by managing tasks such as computer setups, desk moves, and hardware inventory maintenance. Additionally, the Technician provides support to corporate employees who are experiencing hardware, software, or network connectivity issues.
Responsibilities:
Perform desk and computer moves, including setting up Windows, Linux, and macOS environments using Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues and escalate unresolved issues to internal teams.
Deliver and manage computer accessories and hardware inventory.
Calibrate monitors and assist with hardware shipping, tagging, and unboxing.
Ensure organized storage and flag inventory needs with procurement.
Maintain accurate asset assignments in Asset Management System.
Handle daily walk-in support and administrative tasks.
Identify areas for IT environment improvements and suggest solutions.
Participate in stock audits and manage minimum inventory levels.
Be flexible to accommodate production demands, including physical tasks like lifting heavy equipment
