Role Overview:
The IT Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the sales strategy and execution for IT products and services. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing client relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage the IT sales team to ensure high performance.
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
Collaborate with product and technical teams to align solutions with client requirements.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with enterprise clients.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in IT sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of IT solutions, including cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
