Accountabilities: • Provide statistical support to standard study design and interpretation under the guidance of an experienced statistician. • Engage in statistical validation activities. • Analyze internal and external information to inform design decisions and develop decision criteria. • Apply modeling and simulation techniques to inform study design and assess the robustness of results. • Develop Statistical Analysis Plans for standard study and project delivery. • Produce analyses, supporting graphics, and analysis tables for projects like preclinical studies, clinical study reports, Global Medical Affairs studies, or publications. • Interpret, summarize, and communicate results of standard studies. • Offer statistical support for regulatory submissions. • Contribute to the improvement of methodology and provide practical solutions for problems. • Enhance the application of statistical methodology to improve process and delivery activities. • Develop best practices to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. • Ensure the quality of statistical work; provide discipline-specific understanding, insight, and constructive challenge while being self-aware of development needs. Essential Skills/Experience: • MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics (containing a substantial statistical component), or recognized equivalent to stats MSc • Programming Knowledge and experience (SAS or R preferred) • Communication skills • Time Management • Self-Awareness Desirable Skills/Experience: • Collaboration required • Ability to apply statistical expertise to problems, problem solving and quality focus.
