Position
We are focused on changing the renewable energy industry, and as a Developer, you will have an opportunity to be part of this mission.
We are looking for a candidate who wants to do work that has an impact, not just in the industry but also on the environment. Your ability to ask questions, solve problems, and be an integral part of an open collaborative team will be a catalyst for your success.
You will help the Onboarding team design, implement, test, and deploy internal features and tooling to streamline and accelerate the onboarding of new clients and Clir’s analytics, as well as configure new wind and solar farms in Clir’s system. You will maintain and expand the team’s existing microservices-based automation and tooling.

What you’ll be doing
Work with your team to design and develop new internal features and tools to support the onboarding of new wind and solar farms onto Clir’s system
Configure wind and solar farms in Clir’s system for data ingestion
Maintain and improve the performance of existing internal features and tools
Collaborate with product management and team leadership to scope and size upcoming internal features and tools
Collaborate with the customer success team to scope and size onboarding tasks
Plan and implement technical initiatives to improve how Clir’s development team operates
What you’ll need
Experience building and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant SaaS products
Experience with effective agile and software development practices
2+ years of experience as a software developer
Bonus
Experience with any of Go, Python, gRPC, React, MySQL, Airflow, SCADA systems
Experience working in a startup environment
Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills
Ability to write internal technical documentation
