Job Description
Working within the Capital Development Department, the Project Coordinator will report through the AVP/Director, Capital Development.
Accountabilities:
Work closely with the Capital Development team to support complex/large scale capital projects from inception through to completion
Participate in project related meetings, as required
Support senior project manager on communication between end-users, consultants and construction teams to ensure hospital objectives are met throughout the planning and project implementation processes
Support end-user meetings and obtaining subsequent deliverables; ensure these are planned and executed efficiently to align with the project schedule
Participate in document review (i.e. architectural drawings, submissions etc.)
Assist senior project manager with administrative functions and processes
Ensure thorough documentation is maintained throughout the lifecycle of projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
College or university education in architecture, engineering, other planning and management fields or recognized equivalent required
One to three years of practical and related experience within health care and knowledge of architectural, design/planning, and hospital redevelopment is preferred
Ability to work within a team environment as well as motivated to be self-directed and work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Detail oriented with strong organization, priority setting and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing project timelines and scope
Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
Demonstrated computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project and Auto-CAD would be an asset
Ability to travel between all Osler sites
Additional Information
Hours: Currently days, Monday to Friday (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Onsite First: Roles that frequently support direct patient care and have dedicated hours when they are available to patients, team members and/or other partners.
Annual Salary:
Minimum: $79.521.00
Maximum: $99,391.50
