Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator on a permanent basis on our Fleet Services team.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Edmonton, AB.
This position is both a tactical and operational position, focused on ensuring the short to mid-term asset performance of FCL’s cross commodity fleet equipment with respect to equipment safety, regulatory compliance, reliability and environmental sustainability.
What you’ll do:
Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to safety through demonstration of behaviours, actions, discussions, decision, risk manager and other opportunities on a daily basis.
Drive execution of FCL’s Fleet Maintenance Program to ensure that required equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs are completed within defined intervals and complies with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory requirements and corporate policy.
Coordinate and schedule both in-house and third-party inspections and repairs to fleet assets with a focus on increased value and operational efficiency.
Support execution of FCL’s Fleet Asset Renewal Program across Petroleum, Merchandise, and Lumber commodities.
Fully collaborate in the execution of internal and external audits.
Ensure records for all FCL commercially registered vehicles are in compliance.
Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with the Transportation operations management teams and will report into the Supervisor, Fleet Asset Performance.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Supply Chain business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Lease Operators, Fleet Safety & Compliance team and local Co-ops.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:
Have 6-9 years of experience in the transportation industry required
Have a two year Diploma or Journeyman certificate in a mechanical trade (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Comprehensive knowledge on CSA B620 is an asset.
Relevant training courses in safety, emergency response and regulatory systems are an asset.
