Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll help maintain accurate inventory across our distribution centers and partner sites. You’ll work closely with teams in warehouse operations, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow and system integrity.
Develop and maintain a robust inventory management program for Hamilton Kent DCs and third-party logistics sites.
Ensure inventory accuracy in SAP through daily cycle counts and audits.
Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Manage inventory transactions in SAP (EWM & IM), including receipts, stock transfers, and bin location updates.
Coordinate inbound raw material flow from receipt to manufacturing handover, ensuring timely system updates and handling unit labeling.
Support month-end processes and collaborate with production and shipping teams to align physical and system inventory.
Generate and share inventory performance metrics with site leadership and corporate teams.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for material storage and handling.
Assist with new product launches, relocations, and cycle count projects.
Qualification and Skills
High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
Experience with WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
