The Shipper Receiver plays a key role in supporting the Service Centre by ensuring accurate and efficient handling of all inbound and outbound parts, materials, and supplies. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse operations, and ensuring that parts and supplies are available to support effective and timely repairs and maintenance. The role also includes occasional driving duties to pick up or deliver parts as required.

Shipping and Receiving
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments in a timely and organized manner
Perform inter-branch transfers in a timely manner to maintain accurate inventory
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts and stock organization
Ensure parts and supplies are properly stored, labeled, and accessible for service and repair needs
Collaborate with the Service Centre team to minimize delays and remove barriers to efficient operations
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and shipping areas.
Escalate any discrepancies to supervisor
Assist in development and improvement of warehouse and storage plans
Assist in development and upkeep of facility 6S
Other work as may be defined
Parts Delivery and Pick Up
Occasional need to pick up and deliver parts as required in a safe and timely manner
Ensure all loads are safe and properly secured at all times
Maintain condition and cleanliness of company vehicles
Complete vehicle inspection reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
Safely operate the company vehicle adhering to all safety requirements, obeying traffic laws and driving undistracted
Education
Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training
Industry related experience an asset
Valid G License
Skills and Experience
Knowledge and experience with truck and trailer parts
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage large volumes of paperwork efficiently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Accurate and efficient data entry skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office
