Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a busy small animal hospital serving most of Vancouver Island. Our spacious and modern hospital has emergency and surgical facilities, advanced dental equipment, ultrasound, endoscope, digital x-ray, and an in-house laboratory. Based in Nanaimo, BC, we have been caring for cherished animals in our region for over fourteen years.
Our team provides care for companion animals as well as for exotic pets. As an ER hospital, we also support neighbouring practices by assisting their clients outside of normal clinical hours. Nanaimo is truly a world-class city that we’re proud to call home. Our region is famous for many attractions like its forested mountains and beautiful shoreline, which is one of the longest in all of Canada.
