Shift: 1st The Painter is responsible for applying finishes and coatings to doors, ensuring high-quality appearance and protection against wear and environmental factors. This role requires attention to detail and expertise in various painting techniques to meet production standards. What you'll do: Directly reports to the Lead Hand Perform detailed painting tasks that require precision and skill, including surface preparation, application of coatings, and touch-ups Operate and maintain painting equipment, ensuring proper setup and cleanliness Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality specifications Directly impact the final quality and aesthetic of the doors produced, which influences customer satisfaction and product marketability Contribute to production efficiency by adhering to schedules and maintaining high standards in painting processes What you'll need: Previous experience as a painter in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in various painting techniques, finishes, and coatings Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment handling specific to painting processes What we do: Driven by continual innovation and trusted customer partnerships, ODL is a visionary building products leader delivering a full breadth of high-quality door and insulated glass offerings.
