Course Code and Title: PSL446H1S/1446H – Neural Disorders/Molecular and Cellular Aspects of Neural Disorders
Course Description: PSL446H1S/1446H is an undergraduate and graduate course that allows students to explore topics in neurological disorders and treatments to reinforce and expand their knowledge of cellular and molecular neurophysiology. Course material is updated yearly to reflect the rapid evolution of ideas in this area.

Salary: In accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement, the rate of pay for course coordination teaching in this course will be $1,964.14 (prorated at 20%), inclusive of vacation pay, plus $1,128.82 (inclusive of vacation pay) for 20 hours of group work facilitation ($54.27/hr + 4% vac pay), for a total of $3,092.96.
Qualifications: A PhD in physiology and classroom lecturing experience at the university level.
Class schedule: During the scheduled Arts and Science winter term, with lectures Tuesdays from 5 to 8 p.m.
Description of Duties: All normal duties related to the design, teaching and coordination of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content (2 hours of lectures and 20 hours of group facilitation), office hours (2 hours), recruiting faculty lecturers, posting course content/grades to course websites, preparation and administration of tests and exams, supervising the course TA, calculating and submitting final marks and other duties as required. This represents approximately 20% of the teaching workload for the course.
