Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid) Internship Duration: January 2026 – August or December 2026 (8-12months) We are currently looking for an Operations Artificial Intelligence Intern to join us for an 8 or 12 month internship at our Toronto office. The Operations Artificial Intelligence Intern supports the Director of Operations Performance and the Operations AI Specialist in executing data-centric and AI-driven initiatives across business operations. Key Accountabilities: This role focuses on investigating and implementing automation use cases, contributing to strategic projects, and supporting operational improvements. It offers exposure to advanced tools such as Python, Virtual Machines, Copilot Studio, and Power Automate/Platform, with opportunities to help resolve key challenges including API integration and document automation. Assist in the integration and deployment of AI tools to streamline operational processes and reporting. Support the development and documentation of automation use cases using Power Automate, Python, and other programming techniques. Contribute to resolving technical roadblocks, such as enabling API access for SAP and PCM, and automating document workflows using Microsoft Office tools. Participate in monthly AI Champion meetings and contribute to prompt libraries and automation templates. Support transformation initiatives and help operationalize successful use cases. Key Requirements: The successful candidate should be working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Completion of the second or third year of an undergraduate degree, or currently pursuing a Master’s degree. Strong foundation in data analytics. Experience with Python programming and AI tools such as Copilot Chat or Copilot Studio. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate). Strong process improvement mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Positive, “can-do” attitude. Fluent in English, both written and oral communication. Able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week) and open to being in the office at least two days per week, with flexibility depending on team needs Preferred Qualifications: Co-op student available for an 8- or 12-month term, with at least one additional quarter or semester of coursework remaining after the internship. Confident communicator who fosters alignment and shared understanding. Strong ability to adapt and transition fluidly between tasks. Capable of applying creative logic to complex challenges and questioning standard assumptions to uncover new possibilities. Fluency in French is considered an asset.
