GSK is looking to hire a Territory Associate/Manager to join our to join our Specialty Care – Respiratory Division in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is field-based and reports directly to the Senior District Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will reside in or near the Edmonton area. This position is responsible for managing a defined territory, building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, and driving business growth through the effective execution of strategic initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategic business plans that drive customer engagement and maximize the value of GSK’s innovative portfolio. You will lead business development initiatives, foster meaningful customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful implementation of marketing strategies. Your ability to demonstrate business acumen, communicate effectively, and work autonomously will be critical to success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), marketing, and other internal partners, to support GSK’s mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer. How We Work As a Territory Manager at GSK, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that supports your professional growth by providing: Company-leased vehicle and company-issued equipment Comprehensive onboarding and formal training Hands-on learning and mentorship from leadership Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Developing and executing strategic business plans to achieve sales targets within your assigned territory Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals to support their needs and improve patient outcomes Communicating product information effectively and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs Using data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize territory performance Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and achieve business goals Managing resources effectively to create value for customers and drive business success Ensuring all activities align with internal compliance and regulatory standards Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or marketing Minimum 2+ years of sales experience liaising with healthcare professionals Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform strategy and decision-making Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare industry Proven ability to interpret scientific research and communicate findings effectively Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a large territory High learning agility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team success A proactive and results-driven mindset with a passion for making a difference Familiarity with or prior experience working within the Edmonton territory or Alberta healthcare landscape is an asset #LI-GSK Why GSK?
