As a CAT Parts Sourcing Specialist, you’ll manage end-to-end procurement functions, validate supply constraints, research alternative solutions, and implement sourcing strategies to improve parts availability and reduce downtime for customers. Job Description: Order parts from Caterpillar and non-Cat suppliers to meet customer delivery requirements. Monitor stock, consolidate emergency orders, and maintain accurate records. Expedite emergency orders considering vendor timelines, transportation, and costs. Investigate inventory issues and recommend process improvements. Collaborate with branches, planners, and supply chain teams to resolve constraints. Provide backup support during high-volume periods or absences. Ensure compliance with safety and company policies while representing Finning professionally. Day-to-Day Activities: Order parts from Caterpillar and non-Cat suppliers to meet customer delivery requirements. Monitor stock, consolidate emergency orders, and maintain accurate records. Requirements: 3+ years combined experience in either a post-secondary education in Operations Management, Supply Chain, related field or relevant job experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with heavy equipment is an asset. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel) and experience with MRP systems (Lawson preferred). Important: Based out of our Edmonton head office. Temporary, full time role for 6 months.
