Job Description: The Clinical Support Nurse is a highly visible and responsive member of the code blue/outreach team who will assist in providing the critical care intervention required to manage patients with deteriorating conditions ranging from uncomplicated to highly complex. The incumbent also acts as a mentor, providing general clinical and educational support to patients and nursing staff while demonstrating a caring approach, an understanding of the nursing process, a conceptual model for practice, and the philosophy, objectives and standards of our health region.

Nursing diploma is acceptable
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
