Purpose of the Job
The In-Store Communications (ISC) Planning Manager is responsible for intaking marketing plans from the Retail Marketing team, and delivering ISC briefs, creative decks and production grids to the Production Team. This person will interface directly with ISC managers to understand the objectives for Marketing campaigns or reactive marketing, and they will partner to turn the objectives into a brief, deck, and grid that they will then deliver to the Design and/or Production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate and align milestones and deliverables for in-store retail campaigns and seasonal updates. 
Point person for adidas ISC managers, based on assigned channel, to ensure that priorities are aligned, projects are on track, and updates are communicated.
Builds retail execution plans in partnership with adidas ISC; inclusive of creative decks & campaign deliverables.
Briefs Design & Production for marketing stories executed within a given budget & account.
Deliver analytics and metrics to evolve insights and learnings to inform campaign recaps.
Conduit to Store Profiler & Analytics team for updates and information inputs to validate data.
Portland based headcount.
Upstream visibility into upcoming Marketing programs and have a steady communication loop back regarding any timing or capacity concerns.
Responsible for building strong relationships and collaborating smoothly upstream with adidas ISC Sr. Managers & Managers, as well as downstream with Design and Production.
Plan creative projects, communicate milestones, assess risks, and help projects meet business objectives, deadlines and budget requirements.
Manage projects through strategy alignment, briefing, design development and production in partnership with key stakeholders.
Responsible for building creative content deck plans to deliver to design teams.
Responsible for building Production and Distribution grids outlining which assets are assigned to ISC placements within the store.
Works closely with internal brand design creative team and agency partners to deliver exceptional creative work - showing a keen eye for great design and a focus on brand integrity.
Ensures integrity of Marketing messaging by working with ISC managers for final approval or supporting the approvals by ISC managers specific to Design & Production materials. This will also include supporting ISC managers for final approval on Design & Production proofs and collaborating as needed with Marketing for approvals at the appropriate approval points.
Partner with downstream teams to obtain store requirements for various campaign deliverables to aid design development and production logistics, provide clear communication to cross-functional team leads and senior management regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities. Proactively identify risks, prioritize them, and create plans to resolve them in a timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
7-10+ years’ experience managing the design and production development of integrated marketing campaigns, working closely with Creative, Production, and Marketing Leadership functions
Strong problem-solving skills and an inspiring “we can do it” attitude
Strong negotiation and collaboration skills and ability to listen, influence, and compromise, as well as communicate bad news back upstream
Exceptional people management skills. Team focused with a proven ability to proactively establish rapport, credibility and influence, and drive results throughout a highly matrixed organization.

This role is responsible for transforming marketing plans into clear briefs, creative decks, and production/distribution grids, ensuring seamless execution of in-store communications campaigns. The Planning Manager will align stakeholders, manage project timelines and budgets, and uphold brand integrity across all retail activations. A key part of this role is building and strengthening client relationships, expanding HH Global’s capacity, identifying new opportunities, and driving account growth through strategic development.
Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain the ISC campaign planning calendar providing upstream visibility into upcoming work and capacity requirements.
Serve as the primary contact for client’s Marketing and ISC Managers, ensuring priorities are aligned, projects are on track, and updates are communicated.
Build and maintain strong relationships within the client team, acting as a trusted partner and identifying opportunities to expand HH Global’s support across the account.
Partner with client stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, cross-functional collaborations, and additional areas where HH Global can bring value.
Develop and deliver briefs, creative decks, and production/distribution grids for Design and Production teams.
Facilitate creative reviews and approval processes, ensuring brand integrity and marketing message consistency.
Support retail execution plans in partnership with Marketing and ISC teams, inclusive of creative decks and campaign deliverables.
Manage projects through all stages: strategy alignment, briefing, design development, production, and distribution.
Partner with downstream teams to gather store requirements, aid design development, and support production logistics.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience
7–10+ years’ experience managing integrated marketing campaigns with cross-functional teams (Creative, Production, Marketing).
Strong understanding of print production, fabrication, and creative design processes.
Proven project management skills, including risk assessment, budgeting, forecasting, and deadline management.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and stakeholder management.
Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts across a matrixed organization.
Proactive problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with ambiguity.
Experience in retail environments, in-store signage, or visual merchandising preferred.
Familiarity with project management and asset management tools (Box, Monday.com, SharePoint).
Experience managing vendors, agencies, or external partners is a plus.
For Toronto applicants: The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000 CAD annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
