Yard Attendant – Calgary Branch
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 3 license is an asset).
- Previous detailing or cleaning experience is a plus.
- Forklift Certification a plus.
- Familiarity with commercial trucks or related equipment preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety procedures.

Summary
The Yard Attendant plays a key role in supporting branch operations by ensuring CTOS equipment is rental-ready and assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks and equipment. This position also helps maintain a clean, organized yard and facility while supporting mechanics and other team members with various labor-based tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and inspect trucks and equipment to ensure rental readiness.
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Maintain the overall appearance and organization of the yard and branch facilities.
- Support shop technicians and other team members with general labor or maintenance duties as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment; follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Detail the inside and outside of trucks (wash bay).
- Operate a variety of light- and heavy-duty trucks on premises.
- Assist technicians with repair work when additional help is required.
- Occasionally travel with field technicians to assist on field repairs.
- Perform check-in and check-out inspections for rental, sales, and used equipment.
- Assist with general maintenance of the building, yard, shop, warehouses, or equipment.
- Complete routine tasks such as sweeping, emptying trash, and maintaining organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Parts and service or related experience required.
- Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office Suite) and inventory software.
