Whistler based with a hybrid approach that balances in office and remote work (following a training and probationary period)

Starting Salary Range: $60,000 - $64,000 annually. This is the starting base range for this role and may vary based on internal equity, and a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Over and above the base salary and the benefits highlighted above, this position is also eligible for an incentive bonus of up to 10% of the annual salary.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Marketing & Creative Services, the Manager, Data Marketing & Analytics leverages data-driven insights and audience-centric strategies to execute and optimize Tourism Whistler’s paid marketing and email initiatives. This role is responsible for managing and enhancing performance across digital advertising platforms—including paid search, social, and display—while supporting comprehensive analytics, campaign tracking, and reporting. The Manager will play a key role in driving measurable marketing outcomes through thoughtful data application, collaboration, and continuous optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a Tourism Whistler ambassador, living our purpose and vision with passion & energy, achievement and respect
Execute Google Ads initiatives to ensure paid search campaigns support overall sales goals
Collaborate with agency and internal teams to plan and optimize paid social campaigns
Track and report on campaign performance using GA4 and related analytics tools
Manage and implement pixel tracking to ensure accurate and compliant data collection
Leverage first-party data to drive marketing performance and identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with partners to utilize second-party data for enhanced audience targeting
Oversee dynamic creative platforms to deliver personalized, timely messaging
Lead email marketing initiatives to ensure effective, consistent customer communication
Develop and oversee promotions and data capture strategies in collaboration with the Specialist, Data Marketing & Promotions
Manage and mentor direct reports; Specialist, Email Marketing, and Specialist, Data Marketing & Promotions
Support budget management and forecasting for promotions, paid search, and paid social programs
Provide cross-functional support within the Data Marketing & Creative Services team
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Passion and knowledge of Whistler, mountain resorts, and the tourism industry
Post-secondary education in marketing, analytics or a related discipline
Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, promotions, or a comparable role
Proficient in Google Ads and GA4, with familiarity across the Google Marketing Platform
Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and ad-hoc data analysis
Working knowledge of HTML and dynamic creative tools considered an asset
Strong understanding of CASL and data privacy legislation to ensure compliance
Analytical and innovative thinker with exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Demonstrated passion for data-driven marketing and analytics
