OVERVIEW
Salescloser.ai is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join our team on a
full-time basis. This is a fully remote position, and the successful individual
can be based anywhere in Canada.
As VP of Sales, you will oversee our Sales Team, including Sales Managers and
Account Executives, ensuring world-class performance across all sales
initiatives. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, scaling our
sales operations and strategic planning for enterprise-level accounts and
partnerships.
You will work closely with Senior Leadership to set long-term sales strategy,
forecast revenue, and identify opportunities to expand our reach. Day-to-day,
you will lead recruitment, training, and development of team members, ensure
consistent sales performance, review demos and calls, and organize sales
documentation and quarterly planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the sales planning and operational strategy that supports the Sales
Department.
• Assist with the design and execution of strategies, systems, and tools that
drive revenue growth.
• Recruit, mentor, and empower the sales team and educate associated departments
on sales processes and policies.
• Develop and implement training programs across all Teams to ensure operational
excellence.
• Design and implement strategic development and performance plans to ensure
Teams meet their targets.
• Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives, tracking
progress against targets.
• Draft detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
• Work cross-functionally to increase the value delivered to clients and improve
retention across the client lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and goals,
ensuring Salescloser.ai’s products and services are integrated into their plans.
• Cultivate lasting relationships to grow Team Member and client loyalty.
• Communicate new initiatives and follow up to ensure processes are upheld
consistently.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales, preferably within a SaaS
environment.
• Degree or diploma relevant to the role is considered an asset.
• Strong recruitment, training, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and best practices.
• Experience in marketing is an asset.
• Proven ability to manage global teams and multiple high-level client
relationships.
• Detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about helping clients and Team
Members achieve goals.
• Self-motivated with a client-first mentality and ability to build strong
relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
• Technical, analytical, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple
priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with excellent time management, writing, phone, and
communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of a second language is a
plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• The successful candidate is expected to work in the Pacific Time Zone.
• Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including
conducting employment references, criminal records, and credit checks.
• Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government-issued
photo ID, proof of SIN and proof of residential address as part of their
onboarding process.
