Job Description We are seeking an Inside Sales Consultant to join the Client Relationship Management with Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions (Canada). Reporting to the head of the Canadian business, the role is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and would be supporting a Vice President, Client Relationship Management (external sales) servicing financial intermediaries in Ontario and Manitoba. As a key member of the Internal Sales Desk, the Inside Sales Consultant will partner with the Senior Vice President, Client Relationship Management to build new relationship, as well as enhance existing partnerships. The objective will be to increase market share and brand awareness of Brookfield and Oaktree products offered in Canada. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Senior Vice President, Client Relationship Management to develop and implement a territory sales plan. Conduct consultative, relationship-building sales calls with financial advisors and other licensed investment professionals. Advance the sales process by coordinating meetings and presentations (examples of meetings include face-to-face meetings, conference calls, and client seminars, etc.). Respond to ad-hoc requests for information and conduct investment analysis as needed. Convey technical knowledge of the firms’ investment strategies and maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends, and key competitor information. Update daily call activities and maintain accurate client and prospective client records within Salesforce on a timely basis. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry. College degree or equivalent experience required (MBA, CFA, CFP, or CIM). In depth knowledge of the Canadian Wealth Management and Asset Management landscape. Outstanding presentation and communication skills. Strong work ethic, and high integrity. Motivated to achieve success and grow with the firm. Consultative, client first approach, delivering solutions, not products, to meet needs and get results. Excellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on client needs coupled with strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
