Job Description
The Fairmont Student Work Experience Program offers current Hospitality and Culinary students the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a world-class hotel environment. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, applying your classroom learning in a real-world setting, and develop the practical skills essential for a successful career in the luxury hospitality industry.
To be eligible, Students must be enrolled on a Hospitality or Culinary program at the time the program begins.
Start Date: April/May 2026
End Date: September 2026

Successful applicants will be matched to available positions based on previous relevant work experience, area of studies and the hotel’s operational requirements.
Qualifications
Front Office
- Previous Front Desk or Customer Service experience required.
Housekeeping and Stewarding
- Physically capable to regularly bend, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods of time.
Culinary
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen required.
Food & Beverage
- Previous Food & Beverage or Customer Service experience required.
- ProServe certification required.
