The QA Director, Simplii Shared Services, will be responsible for shaping the strategy for QA/ QE automation, API testing, performance testing, test environment management, accessibility testing, service virtualization, and data across the organization. The QA Shared Services Director, a seasoned professional in leadership and coaching, is responsible for leading and managing a centralized shared services team, aimed at providing high quality and efficient support to QA, Development and Business teams throughout the product lifecycle. Beyond day-to-day operations, this role will also spearhead transformational changes across the line of business to advance QA best practices and capabilities, with emphasis on driving innovation, collaboration, and communication across various stakeholders. How you'll succeed Strategic Development & Execution – Direct, manage, and deliver all aspects of QA and QE. Identify the drivers, strategies, and needs of the technology solution and the QA delivery strategy to support those projects. Ensure high standards and quality of technical work. Direct reviews of requirements, tools, and technologies for improving quality and reducing costs. Establish, monitor, and adhere to the budget for your respective area. Leading the transformation from QA to QE. Planning and forecasting of team capacity; Single point of contact for all initiatives and provide senior level technical consulting to technology teams and senior management. Relationship Management – Manage relationships with delivery areas and business partners; interface and maintain communications, monitor business and technology developments and provide on-time response and support. Proactively manage offshore vendor relationships for project resources to ensure effective utilization Automation and Performance Engineering – Lead the Automation and Performance testing teams in not only the maintenance of existing packages but also the evaluation, design and implementation of new technologies, frameworks, DevOps products while incorporating AI techniques. Support Excellence – Unwavering commitment to all stakeholders and teams to deliver an exceptional experience; Ensure test environment stability and data integrity. Who you are You have extensive and at least 10 years experience in: software development testing and process improvement techniques, specifically in automation and performance testing domains. 5+ years of experience as a lead in automation/ performance testing and a proven track record of process improvement. You have in-depth technical knowledge and experience in automation and performance testing tools, techniques and frameworks like Microfocus UFT/Selenium/ Robot/ Quantum/ LoadRunner/ Neoload/ JMeter, programming experience in Java, Python, VBScript, writing and executing SQL queries, as well as creating and executing automation and performance test scripts/ scenarios. You also have experience in API testing, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps and Agile/ Scrum methodologies. It is an asset if you have prior experience in service virtualization (Parasoft Virtualize), Dynatrace, test environment management, accessibility testing, data management and/ or development experience. You are a proven leader who builds autonomous, accountable teams You have proven leadership and people management capabilities with track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments. You can demonstrate work experience developing and implementing strategic team goals. You should also have at least 5 years of people management experience. You put our clients first.
