Role: Registered Veterinary Technician (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Technician)
Status: Full-time
Salary: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour based on experience and licensure
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday; 8 hour shifts

About Us
At Blue Springs Animal Rehabilitation Center, our patients have access to a heated resistance pool, underwater treadmill, therapeutic laser, acupuncture, spinal manipulation, weight loss programs, and senior care services. We’re proud of our excellent referral relationships with surrounding general and specialty hospitals, which provide a diverse and rewarding caseload.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
Experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Technician (CCRT/CCRVN) a plus — or willingness to pursue certification!)
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
A passion for rehabilitation, patient wellness, and improving quality of life
Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and calm under pressure

Commitment to providing outstanding client care and upholding hospital values

What You’ll Do
Deliver compassionate, professional care to clients and rehabilitation patients
Develop and oversee individualized rehabilitation programs for each patient.
Conduct all client and staff interactions in alignment with Blue Springs’ core values
Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, referring veterinarians, and teammates via phone, email, and in person
Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all sessions
Manage scheduling for swim sessions, puppy play, conditioning, and rehabilitation appointments
Perform and teach therapeutic techniques, monitor patient progress, and adjust programs as needed
Assist new patients in acclimating to the pool and rehabilitation environment in a positive, encouraging manner
Collaborate closely with Dr. Kristy DesRoche and other Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapists (CCRTs) to ensure consistent patient care
