As a Paid Digital Specialist, you will leverage your knowledge of Paid Digital platforms to execute successful performance marketing campaigns that drive quality traffic supporting e-commerce initiatives. You will have ownership over your channels and work in tandem with Search Marketing, Affiliate, and Integrated Brand Marketing teams to deliver on company goals. A test and learn mindset are important to constantly learn and adapt to the changing consumer environment.
This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Digital Commerce team is responsible for developing eCommerce channels and all consumer-facing digital touchpoints for Arc’teryx. We are a high-performing team responsible for direct-to-consumer eCommerce (strategy and operations), Digital Marketing (CRM and paid), Digital Analytics, Digital User Experience, Digital Merchandising and Digital Product Content. The Digital Commerce team works closely with many other cross-functional groups, including Brand and Marketing Operations.

If you were the Paid Digital Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Managing budget pacing and tracking against tactical plans
Monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing campaign performance within digital ad platforms and identifying trends and insights to achieve maximum revenue and traffic goals
Strategizing and building audiences for full funnel campaigns, matching campaign goals to business KPIs, and building a test and learn structure to continuously improve campaign performance
Working with internal teams (brand, experiences, creative, etc.) to support Arc’teryx
omnichannel strategies and develop a personalized paid digital experience
Ensuring creative standards are upheld across platforms and giving input where needed with creative teams
Reporting on campaign results and share performance insights with stakeholders/ eComm & Brand team
Liaising with the Digital, Platform Partners (Google/ Meta/ Pinterest/ TikTok/ Reddit), and Brand/ Video teams to help develop marketing collateral aligned to campaign goals and provide feedback to help optimize ad performance
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
Assisting with developing our 3-5 year digital strategy to scale the brand internationally, including designing omni-channel plans to connect in-store and online business
Testing new social platforms and ad products and reporting on their effectiveness while staying up to date on industry trends and testing opportunities
Developing Brand Maintenance strategy to bridge the gap between Brand Awareness and Performance tactics
Leveraging incremental & MMM data to determine tactic level investment
Owning and executing performance programmatic campaigns for .com & retail initiatives
Are you our next Paid Digital Specialist?
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
You have 3+ years of experience in paid digital marketing
You have experience working on retail and ecommerce clients
You experienced with digital marketing tools and technologies such as Meta and Google including ad buying platforms, pixel setup, and product catalogues.
You understand key performance metrics against diverse marketing goals, and how to apply those KPIs to paid execution
You have knowledge or willingness to learn DV360 and other GMP tools
You have a broad understanding of how seasonal and cultural events impact shoppers, and the ability to proactively plan and pivot to meet these opportunities
You are detail oriented and able to keep track of complex campaign executions while meeting launch deadlines
You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right

$70,000 - $88,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$70,000 - CAD$88,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
