Understand all functions of the piece of equipment being used. Operating a Forklift. Perform machine setups Ensure the product quality requirements are met. Display consistent attention to personal safety in accordance with all applicable, company, and provincial regulations. Perform routine maintenance and general housekeeping duties Be capable of performing all functions necessary to operate one type of Computer Numerical Controlled equipment (ie. Esco Wire Saw, Baumer Wire Saw, Thermwood CNC Mill, Frog CNC Mill) Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software. Shift schedule is 8am to 4:30pm. Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned. Understand all functions of the machine, such as wire changing and tensioning, cutter changing and toll length setting, turning equipment on/off, and emergency shut down procedures. Be able to setup or change over the machine from a previous job to perform the requirements of a new job. Make machine adjustments, such as adjusting fixture offsets, adjusting tool length offsets, using hand tools. Understand Quality requirements, minimize defects, report any quality or machine issues immediately to supervisor. Perform quality inspections and fill out appropriate quality documentation Understand and perform Lock Out / Tag Out safety procedures Complete all work efficiently and timely as instructed by supervisor.
