Job Description What is the opportunity? The Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist is a self-starter who exudes energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm to take on any challenge that is presented to them within the RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc. (RBC WMFS Inc.) As the Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist this person can pivot easily depending on the situation and circumstances presented to them. The Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist is responsible for providing policy review support to the Estate Planning Specialist (EPS) and the Dominion Security Advisor (IA) who is life insurance licensed, teams with their policy review. This role ensures that all insurance policy reviews from the IA or EPS teams are prioritised and handled with exceptional care, efficiency and accuracy. The Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist offers proactive support, personalized service and seamless execution of all insurance policy review needs. The Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist will identify risk and are responsible for supporting the EPS/IA teams with the following on inforce policy review. Please note that all applicants must be fully LLQP licensed and fluently bilingual in both French and English. What will you do? Provide the BOB listing to an EPS team Work with the EPS team on which policies need most attention, for example: Universal Life YRT policies and/or policies that contain high risk investments Whole Life policies that have a loan or are to go on premium offset on a certain date etc. Based on above determination Insurance Advisor Support team will gather/provide: Universal Life & Whole Life policies: obtain the most current statement based on the client’s anniversary date Obtain the original illustration Obtain a current inforce illustration Term policies: Policies that are renewing are to be placed on a spreadsheet for EPS to review for opportunities Obtain updated financial plan from the advisor and provide it to the EPS for review Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist will note and post on our CRM System such as documents and notes provided to IA/EPS team, follow up with the EPS team on the progression of the review, conclusion for the review, and set up a task reminder for next policy review based on EPS requirements/assessment) What do you need to succeed? Must-have Full Insurance Licensed (LLQP) Fluently Bilingual in both French and English Minimum of 3-5 years in insurance or financial services or similar role Post-secondary studies in a related field Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy Proven track record of delivering high-level client service Excellent verbal and written communication skills What’s in it for you?
