Responsibilities
Responsible for input of contractual information including but not limited to royalty rates, advance installments, subsidiary rights splits, joint accounting, etc.
Responsible for questioning and confirming contractual information that appears to be inaccurate.
Responsible for maintaining a list of published titles for which contractual information is not yet on file and documenting what needs to be provided.
Responsible for special projects as deemed necessary.
Be able to work independently daily. Works with departmental supervisors, managers, or director when necessary.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
A minimum of 1 year in a corporate accounting, finance, or royalty department is desired.
Experience in book publishing is preferred.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Basic math skills
Prior experience using Klopotek Royalty Software and/or JD Edwards Financial Software is a plus.
Ability to work overtime as needed
