We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Regional Manager, Pharmacy Operations to join our Pharmacy team in Edmonton, AB. Reporting to the General Manager, Pharmacies, you will be responsible for directing the implementation of pharmacy operations, including overseeing the execution of pharmacy merchandising plans and initiatives, while identifying opportunities to develop and grow market share. You will be responsible for: Identifying opportunities to develop and grow market share, including positioning against industry and consumer trends. Directing the effective implementation of pharmacy operational guidelines. Overseeing the effective execution of pharmacy merchandising plans and initiatives. Ensuring the successful implementation of inventory control guidelines. Acting as a liaison between retail branches, third parties, professional colleges, and associations to ensure that all pharmacy department practices comply with legal requirements and professional standards. Recruiting and selecting pharmacy team members. Providing technical support and expertise to branches on merchandising and operational issues. Leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support daily tasks. You have: Completion of a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Master of Pharmacy program is preferred. 3-5 years of experience as a pharmacy manager, or in pharmacy operations. Previous experience in a pharmacy management role at multiple locations is considered an asset. A current BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba Pharmacist licence, complimented by a solid knowledge of pharmacy legislation in all 4 provinces. Current status as a Certified Injector, completion of MMT or OAT (or equivalent), and the ability to conduct Medication Reviews and Minor Ailments. Experience with recruiting and hiring pharmacy team members. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and the Kroll system. The ability to travel frequently between stores. You are: Self-aware, empathetic and possess a high level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ). An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills. An analytical thinker with strong organizational and planning abilities.
