Position Summary: The Functional Analyst is responsible with supporting, maintaining, and continuously improving the core 407 ETR SAP BRIM implementation. This role also encompasses broader responsibilities across various specialty areas, providing comprehensive business process and functionality analysis to drive system optimization. By ensuring that technology solutions effectively meet business needs, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic goals, the Functional Analyst plays a crucial role in the organization. Responsibilities: Provide configuration, administration, and maintenance for 407 ETR applications while proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams Lead validation of business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional designs for enhancements across applications Oversee and coordinate functional aspects and testing of system integrations between various platforms to ensure seamless interoperability Participate in projects aimed at introducing new system features, streamlining business processes and ensuring optimal system utilization and performance Serve as the subject matter expert for specialized applications when required, consolidating expertise under the general Functional Analyst title Drive the knowledge management processes by creating and maintaining support documentation, providing training to team members, and ensuring that best practices are shared across the organization Expanded responsibilities include functional design, business process reengineering, and cross-platform integration governance Collaborate with security teams to ensure system requirements and business processes complied with organizational security standards and data protection policies Design and configure SAP CI modules, including CI-FICA (Financial Contract Accounting), CI-BRI (Billing and Invoicing), CI-OM (Order Management) Collaborate with SAP Functional Analysts to complete end to end design, configuration and customization of the SAP BRIM solution across all critical modules (CI, FI-CA, SOM, CC) Requirements: 5+ years of relevant work experience Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience) is preferred Technical skills: Proficiency in various software and systems, data modeling, and technical writing Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills for identifying problems, conducting analysis, and developing solutions Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and find solutions to complex problems Project management skills: Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring Business acumen: Understanding of business processes and objectives to ensure solutions align with business needs Proficient in SAP BRIM configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems such as SAP SOM, FI-CA and CC Additional Requirements: Ability to investigate and troubleshoot problems/errors reported and provide best possible solutions in SAP BRIM. In 1999, 407 International became the owner of the 407 ETR Concession Company Limited ("407 ETR") which is the operator and manager of the highway, which extends 108 kilometres east-west across the top of the Greater Toronto Area.
