What You’ll Get To Do: Directly supervise all activities in the loading and shipping of bulk cement Accurately completes and properly routes required shipping paperwork on a timely basis. Prepares daily inventory levels and sales reports. Process all product shipping department documents promptly and accurately including BOLs Fully understand all loading and material transfer systems within the storage and shipping silos area; ensure that all shipping department personnel are operating efficiently, and in accordance with Company safety policies and general work rules. Develops SOPs and training plans for the department, revising as needed to eliminate inefficiencies and improve productivity. Responsible for the proper maintenance of all equipment in the shipping department; troubleshoot equipment outages and initiates remedial work and timely requests of maintenance personnel. Supervise and direct Plant Yard crew, and contractors for projects as required. Who we are looking for: Ability to communicate effectively and interact as a team member Good supervisory, leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills Able to troubleshoot equipment.
