The Manager In Training will learn the operations of the shop and gain experience for growth into a General Manager role. The Manager In Training works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs. Key Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses Oversee hiring, training, corrective action and termination Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center. Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booth Provide training for all staff as necessary Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to oversee work in progress and delivery dates Manage all estimates and store capacity Shadow the General Manager and assist in overseeing all repair facility personnel. Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings. Attend monthly managers meetings. Maintain the The Boyd Group KPI’s (Sales/ GP/ EBITA /BHPD/ NPS/ WOW Scores) Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job Post-Secondary Education or equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Ability to multitask and function well in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Ability to multitask and effectively manage a fast paced environment Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.
