Bring Flavour and Finesse to Lucky’s Kitchen!
Step into the kitchen leadership team at Lucky’s, where elevated dining meets vintage glamour in the heart of Fallsview Casino Resort. We’re seeking a creative and detail-driven Sous Chef to help lead our culinary brigade through sophisticated breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night service in a setting that transforms with the day and dazzles by night.
Cook Responsibilities:
Assist in the efficient operations of the kitchen to ensure customers receive superior service, consistent and quality meals
Prepare and assemble various menu options
Follow recipes, food preparation, and cooking instructions
Clean all kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a sanitary work environment
Handle food storage and store leftover food properly
Utilize a wide range of kitchen equipment and utensils
Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need as a Cook:
Experience: 1+ years’ experience in a high volume restaurant
Education: Secondary School Graduate Diploma preferred, minimum Grade 10 or equivalent
Other Qualifications:
Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
Commitment to quality and hospitality
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to multitask, organize time and work efficiently
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
