The lead will work within the Global Supply Planning (GSP) team, responsible to engage cross functionally, as well as support the global inventory program across all categories of inventory (Raw Materials, Packaging Components, Finished Goods) within the Apotex network. In addition this role will be accountable for driving our overall customer service and supply output results including leading service improvement areas including but not limited to MTO order management and frequency, backorders with inventory clean up, demand management, inventory adherence, supply and demand plan oversight and impact, in addition to holding stakeholders and owners accountable and help drive processes and data availability to meet target achievement.
The lead is responsible for inventory target setting activities to ensure optimized inventory targets across all categories of inventory, and customer service (internal and external). The individual is responsible for tracking key inventory metrics and report results to Senior Management.
This role provides Supply Chain expertise to analyse, design, optimize, and assist in the implementation of Supply Planning processes, information systems, data management, policies and procedures. The role will support various Global project teams in support of service and inventory objectives as well as reviews analytical reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis, providing data driven insights to help optimize IBP decisions, supply planning processes and behaviours that support departmental KPM’s.Job Responsibilities
Provide content and support to the monthly cycle of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Supply Review
Analyze and present information pertinent to operations and supply chain including demand changes, launch reporting, and plan changes and deviations to support management decision making
Project lead or team member for inventory assigned projects within Supply Planning, including analytics interface
Provides subject matter expertise in all global inventory, including target setting methodology and inventory metrics to measure performance
Ensure link is maintained from FG coverage to Raw Materials and Packaging Components targets in line with the overall Apotex Inventory Strategy
Responsible for the semi-annual target evaluation across Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Packaging Components
Ongoing reporting and review of current and projected backorder, liasing with GSP Master Planners, Site Execution teams and the Commerical organization to drive gap analysis process and action planning for mitigation
Responsible and accountable to lead assigned service improvement objectives, in order to achieve the desired level of customer service as measured by the agreed upon internal measures (BO NS) and customer driven measures (BO # of SKUs), LFR, OTIF
Ensure stakeholder ownership and alignment across all areas responsible for levers driving the Apotex Service Improvement Plan
Responsible to ensure action plans to address gap in service performance are in place and progressing
Measure and report on service improvement progress in various forums including IBP (DR; SR; MBR)
Measure against defined service objectives (BO $NS; $SM; % SKUs on BO; % LFR; and OTIF) and establish next level of targets to achieve industry benchmark performance
Work with partners in logistics to provide visibility to storage impacts of inventory plan and identify areas of risk
Inventory Planning and Control: Work with Director Global Supply Planning to review current inventory management policies, procedures, and strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. Recommend changes as needed
Inventory Projection: Maintain accurate future inventory needs and values in order to work with cross functional stakeholders to address risks and inform decision making
Inventory Governance: In collaboration with molecule planners review and understand replenishment plans to ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels, and that backorders and risk inventory are minimized
Inventory Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to optimize inventory levels and reduce write offs by leveraging Tier 1 as well as ABC-XYZ segmentation methodologies
Inventory Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders on inventory levels, inventory value, and other key performance indicators
Manage risk inventory data, dashboard and cross functional communication process to ensure we are limiting disposal risk and provisioning as appropriate

Job Requirements
Education
Community College or University graduate in appropriate discipline
APICS certification an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of operational supply chain processes including the flow of materials and information
Excellent organization and coordination skills
Robust SAP cross module knowledge and/or experience or equivalent knowledge with another MRP II system (SAP certification an asset)
Experience in QlikSense and/or other visualization tools
Ability to make timely decisions based on sound analytics as well as strong presentations skills
Self-motivated team player who can also work independently and with minimal direction
Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs, including MS Office Tools
Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs
Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables
Experience
3-5 Years Supply Planning andAnalytics experience in a pharmaceutical, Consumer goods or other manufacturing industry
Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
Product and inventory management certification a plus
