Job Description
What you will be responsible for:
Planning and organizing driver routes optimally to ensure maximum use of the truck fleet
Assigning routes to drivers (in-house software)
Responding to internal client calls efficiently, courteously, and professionally
Entering information into the computer system to document calls and follow up appropriately
Serving as the drivers’ point of contact regarding work hours and resolving issues, if any
Weighing trucks on our scales and integrating the data into our system
Processing customs paperwork requests (USA drivers)
Maintaining and tracking inventories in our supply yards on a daily basis
Performing all other related tasks
Qualifications
To join our team:
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
You are capable of managing complex problems to find the best solutions
You have very strong analytical skills
You have extensive knowledge of the geographic regions of Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and Maine
You are available outside of working hours to manage driver emergencies
You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and dispatch software (Samsara)
You are bilingual in oral and written communication (an asset)
