The Global Independence Learning & Development (GI L&D) team is dedicated to designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical independence training content, programs and resources for use by PwC firms throughout the PwC Network. The GIL&D team collaborates with a range of stakeholders including independence subject matter experts, the Global Independence leadership, and PwC territory independence teams to develop these learning assets to support the independence learning of territory independence teams and all other PwC personnel. The Independence Learning & Development Manager plays a vital role in supporting the GI L&D Leader in the design, development and delivery of multiple technical training courses. This includes the coordination of project schedules and vendors, analysis of course effectiveness and territory data, and the ongoing maintenance of the GI L&D SharePoint site. You will contribute to the continuous enhancement of instructional design strategies and embrace innovations in learning technologies. The position requires a proactive, solutions-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within defined timelines and budgets. Prior knowledge of independence compliance, policies and procedures is not required, but the successful candidate would be expected to develop a working knowledge of the technical area as part of their personal ongoing development program.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As an Independence Learning and Development Manager in the Global Line of Service, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate to develop and deliver technical training courses, leveraging emerging tools like Articulate 360, Gomo, Vyond, and GenAI.
Manage project schedules and vendors, track and analyse course and territory data, and maintain the content.
Address stakeholder needs and effectively communicate complex information to global audiences.
Develop impactful learning experiences through advanced instructional design skills and methodologies to ensure engagement and behavioural change.
Support training initiatives and engage stakeholders both virtually and in-person.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
You are an experienced learning and development professional with strong instructional design skills. Prior knowledge of independence is not required, however, the successful candidate would be expected to develop a working knowledge of the technical area as part of their personal ongoing development program.
Experience in designing, delivering, implementing and maintaining L&D content on technical subject matters in a large, regulated organisation is preferred.
An interest in emerging technologies and dedication to continuous improvement are essential to your success in this role.
Being able to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a record of success in leading initiatives to quality, schedule and budget.
