Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain, the Manager, Operational Processes plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across our branch network. This position focuses on evaluating, standardizing, and optimizing end-to-end operational processes related to branch operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and customer service.
This role can be located in any of the following cities Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg.
What you will do:
Evaluate current operational workflows across branches, including order entry, pick/pack/ship, delivery, returns, inventory control, and warehouse layout
Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and inconsistencies across branches and distribution network and propose scalable solutions
Design and implement best-practice SOPs for branch operations and distribution processes ensuring a consistent and reliable experience across the branch network
Develop, document, and train standard operating procedures for all critical branch functions
Conduct periodic audits of branch operations to ensure adherence to processes and identify training and/or system needs
Pilot new processes and assessment of success through measurement of KPIs
Evaluate and optimize usage of ERP and reporting tools to track and monitor branch operational performance
Implement RF across all branches
Monitor system data quality and ensure process compliance through system utilization
Lead training for branch managers and warehouse teams on new processes, systems, and tools
Lead inventory count and cycle count programs
Champion continuous improvement and drive change initiatives across branches and distribution network
Support and foster a process-oriented culture among branch teams
Support new branch openings and branch transitions
Work closely with branch leadership, sales, IT, inventory management, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of branch operational processes
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field considered an asset
5+ years of experience in wholesale distribution or multi-branch operational management
Proven track record in process design, warehouse operations, and supply chain optimization
Experience with ERP, WMS and TMS platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, or similar)
Strong knowledge of inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics best practices
Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification considered an asset

ROBINSON values your experience and recognizes the contributions you make to the success of our business. Your starting pay will be based on the skills and experience you bring to the role. In BC, employees in this position can expect to earn as base salary of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, with opportunities to earn more as you grow and develop with us. Your salary will be supplemented with monthly bonus opportunities, annual profit share, wellness days, RRSP program and a generous benefits package.
