What You Will Do:
The Key Accounts & eDSM Co-op Student supports the development and execution of marketing, communications, and customer engagement initiatives. This full-time role will report to our Brantford office daily, with the potential for some remote work based on role requirements. 4-month co-op term (January - April 2026) with the possibility of extension.
Marketing & Communications
Draft, review, and organize marketing materials (brochures, flyers, presentations, signage) for both digital and print distribution.
Review and proofread marketing content to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
Assist with the preparation and scheduling of email campaigns, monitor engagement metrics, and provide tracking reports.
Update and maintain customer records and interactions within software systems.
Event Coordination & Engagement
Assist with planning, organizing, and executing customer-facing and online events (e.g., community evets, golf tournaments, webinars).
Support event logistics including setup, registration, materials preparation, and on-site coordination.
Track attendance and gather customer feedback to support post-event reporting and evaluation.
Customer Service Support
Support with shared department email inboxes (Key Accounts/eDSM), triage inquiries, and delegate to appropriate team members.
Provide front-line support for customer engagement activities, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
Assist in documenting customer feedback and insights to inform future marketing strategies.
Administrative & Organizational Support
Maintain inventory of marketing and promotional materials, ensuring availability for upcoming campaigns and events.
Support departmental record-keeping, including attendance sheets, campaign tracking, and customer communications.
Collaborate with internal teams on cross-department initiatives related to customer services and energy efficiency (eDSM) programs.
What You Will Bring
Enrollment in a College/University program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Media Studies, or a related field.
Eligibility for a co-op term through your institution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and creativity.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
