Our Position: As the Project Director – Commercial Oncology, your primary focus is to support the Integrated Business Team (IBT) in fulfilling its directive. The IBT is responsible for co-creating and endorsing core brand strategy, associated results, and delivering globally led prioritized business activities, including market shaping, launch excellence, and business and financial planning. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the IBT, assisting in the development of annual goals, and ensuring the successful and timely execution of all deliverables within those goals. By providing strategic guidance, operational support, and encouraging collaboration, you will play a key role in driving the IBT towards achieving its objectives and advancing the overarching vision of our Oncology Business Unit—to eliminate cancer as a cause of death. What you will do in this role: Support and drive the development of IBT scorecard goals with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business unit and company objectives. Facilitate market shaping, brand indication planning, and launch excellence efforts driving initiatives from initial planning through execution. Handle operational support for launches, including toolkit development, dashboards management, and addressing ad hoc needs of IBTs during launch preparations. Support efficient delivery of OBU Governance interactions, ensuring clear communication and alignment with IBT objectives. Handle meeting logistics and agendas, document outcomes, and resolve issues to ensure efficiency within IBTs. Collaborate on calendar planning, ensuring visibility and timely communication of changes to IBT members. Provide support for key initiatives such as ad board planning and congress planning, driving IBT success. Facilitate seamless collaboration between Global, Region, and Market partners, Integrated Business Planning and Global Portfolio and Product Management (GPPM), ensuring project consistency and alignment with OBU standards and IBT objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, management, life sciences, or a related field. Significant experience in strategic planning, operations management, project management, or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of business operations, strategic planning processes, and project management methodologies. Strong facilitation skills, capable of driving productive meetings and discussions. Demonstrated ability to manage without direct authority, exerting influence to guide teams towards common objectives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Desirable for the role: Project Management Certification and management Consulting experience Pharmaceutical or equivalent global organization experience; experience of working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures and guidelines Why AstraZeneca?
