JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the VP, Strategy, the Strategy Analyst will focus on supporting and operationalizing the company’s growth across North America. The Strategy Analyst will collaborate closely with the VP Strategy, President and North American Executive team and contribute directly to high-impact strategic initiatives to support company growth, including strategic transformation projects, M&A activities and business unit performance improvements.
As part of a small, agile team, they will work closely with senior leaders across the organizations to support strategic planning, develop insights into data, and help drive execution of key initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives and business plans across business units, including growth, operational efficiency and EBITDA improvement with the finance and North American management team
Conduct market, competitor, and internal performance analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Support M&A integration activities and identify opportunities for synergies and post-deal value creation
Build financial models and business cases to evaluate initiatives and investment opportunities
Develop and implement frameworks and tools to enable effective tracking of KPIs for the Ramudden Global North America businesses
Prepare presentations and materials for executive-level discussions and workshops
Collaborate cross-functionally with Management, Finance, Operations, IT, and Managing Directors to gather data and align on strategic priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating initiative and creativity,
Ability to work independently, balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about different aspects of the business
Willing to work in-person in our Markham office
Willing to travel up to 25% outside the GTA
Internship or co-op experience in consulting, corporate strategy or construction preferred but not required
