Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Floor Manager or Dealer Supervisor, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to guests while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for a ll team members.
Key Accountabilities
Provides exceptional guest service while conducting all Salon/Salon Premium card games (MDB & MEZB) in a precise, efficient and secure manner
Maintains the game integrity and adheres to all policies and procedures, licensing laws and statutory regulations
Exchanges Guest cash and promotional vouchers for equivalent value
Controls the order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time; maintains t able security
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights
Minimum 1 year of experience in dealing Roulette
Serving it Right Certification
Dealer Certificate
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Effective communication skills and abilities in English; Mandarin or Cantonese an asset
Strong and accurate mathematical skills
Manual dexterity and the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
Work Environment Considerations
Regular casino environment, sitting and standing for long periods of time, dealing cards for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, non-traditional work hours
