Role reports to: Packaging Supervisor Location: North America, Canada, Ontario, Guelph Work Location: Fully Onsite What you will do Please note this is a 3rd shift/night shift position. The Operator III works independently to operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain packaging lines. This role is responsible for electronic and paper batch documentation, changeovers, and ensuring GMP, SOP, hygiene, and safety compliance in daily operations. The Operator III acts as line leader and subject matter expert for SAP/MES in packaging. Key Responsibilities Act as line leader setting up and troubleshooting packaging lines to meet performance standards Complete batch documentation (paper & electronic) accurately and in a timely manner; troubleshoot documentation issues Lead MES/SAP activities on shift and daily documentation review Perform basic changeovers, equipment setup, and breakdown activities Record downtime, case counts, and SKU changes in production systems (Cockpit/Vorne/Line boards) Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and safety/hygiene requirements Participate in shift meetings and effective shift handovers Support improvement opportunities, coordinate shift resources, and lead in absence of supervisor What we are looking for Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent 4–6 years experience as a Packaging Operator in a regulated GMP environment Strong mechanical aptitude & troubleshooting skills Computer literacy and experience with MES/SAP systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desired Qualifications Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing Knowledge of SAP and GMP guidelines What’s in it for you Competitive Benefit Package Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!
