About the Role
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team as a key member of the Human Resources department. This newly created position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to modernize our hiring practices and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

About Your Day
Review current recruitment workflows to recommend and implement process improvements that will streamline candidate experience
Manage full-cycle recruitment for select roles, including posting, screening, interviewing and offer coordination
Ensure consistent and transparent communication with candidates throughout the process
Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on recruitment best practices
Partner with HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs and align on recruitment efforts
Develop tools and resources to support hiring manager capability
Promote inclusive hiring practices and ensure a level playing field in all recruitments
Evaluate current recruitment tools and systems; recommend upgrades or new technologies
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance employer branding and candidate outreach
Monitor recruitment metrics and trends to inform strategy and continuous improvement
Lead or support projects that improve talent acquisition efficiency and innovation
Provide day-to-day guidance and task oversight to the Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Act as additional support for HRBP team in high volume periods
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on continuous improvement
About You
Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field—or equivalent experience
Certificate in Talent Acquisition, Designation in CHRL/CHRP preferred
5 years of experience in talent acquisition, including recruitment strategy and process design
Experience recruiting for senior-level roles and working with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.
Experience training or supporting managers is preferred
Exposure to employer branding initiatives or recruitment marketing is preferred
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint and recruitment platforms
Knowledge of accessibility requirements in Ontario
Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
About the Job
Hours of Work: 36.25 a week
Employment Type: Fixed-Term, 12-months
Required Travel: Rare, usually within the GTA
Compensation
The target hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000. This is a pay grade 6 role, with a salary range of $71,777.30 to $107,379.81 Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
