Job Description

The Senior Programmer Analyst will actively contribute to the design, evolution, and quality of the company’s BI platform, while supporting and mentoring less experienced developers in their technical growth.
The role combines technical expertise and knowledge sharing, without implying any formal management or technical leadership responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize BI solutions (ETL, data warehouses, cubes, reports, and dashboards).
Ensure code quality and maintainability within BI environments (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
Participate in code reviews, standardization of practices, and continuous process improvement.
Provide occasional technical support and guidance to intermediate and junior developers.
Collaborate with analysts and product owners to understand business needs and translate them into robust solutions.
Actively contribute to architecture and optimization discussions.
Document delivered solutions and help promote BI best practices within the team.
Challenges to Address
Participate in the modernization of the legacy BI environment toward a more modern and high-performing architecture.
Contribute to the evolution of internal development and deployment practices.
Help the team strengthen its technical maturity and cohesion.
Qualifications
Solid experience in BI development (minimum 5 to 8 years).
Excellent command of the Microsoft BI ecosystem (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
Hands-on experience with MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
Proven ability to solve complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
Strong ability to explain concepts clearly and guide less experienced colleagues (mentoring, pair programming, code review).
Autonomy, rigor, and a strong sense of quality.
Team spirit, openness, and a desire to contribute to collective growth.
Experience in data modeling (star and snowflake schemas) and SQL performance optimization is an asset.
