The Role
We're hiring an Account Executive to drive growth in our primary markets: retail shopping centers, real estate developers, and commercial properties. This isn't transactional sales—you'll be building strategic partnerships with property owners and decision-makers who are investing in the future of their facilities.
You'll own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to close, focusing on consultative selling that leads with business outcomes. Our best salespeople understand that we're not just selling chargers—we're solving problems around customer experience, sustainability goals, and future-proofing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full B2B sales cycle for commercial and retail property accounts
Develop strategic account plans with focus on long-term partnership value
Conduct discovery calls, site assessments, and solution presentations
Navigate complex stakeholder environments (property managers, executives, sustainability teams)
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and activity tracking in HubSpot
Travel occasionally within BC and Alberta for client meetings and site visits
Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure smooth customer experience
Contribute to building sales processes and documentation as we scale
What You Bring
Required:
3-5+ years of successful B2B sales experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Experience with consultative, solution-focused selling (not transactional)
Strong account management and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot strongly preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within BC/Alberta
Ideal:
Experience in infrastructure, construction, real estate, or cleantech sectors
Understanding of commercial property management or development
Track record with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Experience in a scaling startup environment

Our Work Environment
We're building a distributed team across Canada with Vancouver as our hub. You'll work primarily from home with occasional site visits and monthly team gatherings. We value flexibility, clear communication, and documentation. "If it's not in HubSpot, it didn't happen" is our mantra—not because we micromanage, but because visibility helps us all succeed together and reduce back and forth.

In 5 minutes or less, write answers to these three questions:
Segment Selection: Within "retail shopping centers," identify ONE specific sub-segment you'd prioritize first and why. Be specific: what characteristics define this segment?
