Job Description Summary Reporting to the R&D Program Leader, the Senior Lead program management engineer is responsible for leading all the NPI and sustaining Engineering program management activities on 8 Series, MAgile and 3 Series product lines. End to end responsibility including project planning, resource loading, and budget management and cross functional execution. #LI-ML2 Job Description Responsibilities Delivery of NPI projects, sustaining engineering or customer committed programs in accordance with the requirements as defined by Product Management and maintain compliance to established NPI QMS process and design review guidelines. Maintain ongoing requirements pipeline for the sustenance of the product lines. Participate in annual planning for NPI and sustaining engineering budget for these product lines and manage this budget throughout the year. Own sustaining engineering activities such as ongoing production support, quality issue resolution, field issues response, supplier interaction, end of life component management, cost out projects and ECO management. Define project plans and provide effort and schedule estimates for various projects. Define and maintain resource allocation plans for direct staff, and contractors that support sustaining engineering projects. Elimination of obstacles through coordination and collaboration with various stakeholders on product release planning, development, test, and delivery including sourcing team, supplier relationship and manufacturing transition. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project goals including meeting schedule, budget, resource allocation and specifications with regular reporting to key stakeholders. Drive initiatives around SAFe methodologies, Kaizen and Simplification to ensure speed and time to market needs are met. Single point of contact for these product lines in technical and program management context when it comes to cross-functional touch points. Manage LCS quality releases to address customer field issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience Minimum of 3 years experience in project management Desired Characteristics Experience using Confluence, JIRA, Agile / SAFe methodologies Prior experience in the capacity of managing sustaining engineering activities, electronic PCBA design & manufacturing process knowledge, transition into manufacturing Superior verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to build solid relationships conduct negotiations. Experience in power systems and protection relays SAFe Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification Ability to influence others. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
