This is an in-office role, typically 4–5 days per week, with occasional flexibility to work from home.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing bank deposits, trust cheques, and outgoing wire instructions for transfers and foreign currency conversions;
- Preparing transfers from trust to general operating account to pay invoices;
- Processing file-to-file trust transfers;
- Preparing requests for investment of trust funds, including instructions for deposits, withdrawals, opening and closing of investments;
- Reviewing all trust transactions for compliance with by-laws and firm policies;
- Processing vendor invoices and preparing related payments;
- Reviewing invoices and proformas to ensure necessary approvals obtained;
- Verifying authorization levels for write-offs, reversals and processing these transactions; and
- Other duties as required throughout the Department.
Knowledge, Qualities & Experience Required
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role preferred;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills required;
- Dedicated to providing quality service to clients and consistently meet expectations by providing services beyond expectation;
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while relating to a diverse group of individuals;
- Strong ability to manage multiple internal clients and remain productive within a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment;
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities required;
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize and deliver creative solutions; and
- Ability to multitask, establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision.
