As a Field Sales Representative, you’ll represent Greenhouse directly in retail environments, bringing our brand to life in-store. You’ll visit retailer locations across the GTA to ensure our products look great, stay in stock, and win at shelf. You’ll build strong relationships with store teams, identify growth opportunities, and execute at the highest standard to drive sales velocity and brand visibility.
This is a field-based role for someone who thrives on the interactive nature of a field role, enjoys being on the move, is driven to succeed, and has a passion for health, sustainability, and winning at retail.
Statement of Work & Responsibilities:
Store Execution & Merchandising
Ensure all Greenhouse SKUs are properly merchandised, priced, and fully stocked.
Maintain planogram compliance and ensure promotional execution at shelf.
Secure (and maintain) secondary placements and incremental merchandising opportunities to maximize visibility and sales.
Track and report on out-of-stocks, voids, and low inventory situations.
Co-ordinates customer store-level events and facilitates the grocery team’s overall demo program.
Sales & Relationship Building
Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, department heads, and key retail staff.
Present and secure store-level orders to maintain on-shelf availability.
Act as the Greenhouse ambassador in-store, championing our brand and educating teams about our products and sustainability mission.
CRM Management: Data & Reporting
Use of CRM and digital tools provided to capture store visit data, photos, and insights in real time.
Report on competitive activity, pricing, and promotional trends.
Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to help refine retail strategy.
Executional Excellence
Support new product launches and seasonal programs through flawless execution.
Ensure POS materials are current, clean, and compliant with brand standards.
Partner with distributors and brokers to align on inventory flow and order fulfillment.
Desired Skills and Experience:
1–3 years of experience in CPG field sales, merchandising, or account management (beverage or natural food category preferred).
Strong understanding of the grocery, natural/specialty, and mass retail landscape.
Self-starter with excellent organizational, time management skills and a thirst to win.
Comfortable using CRM’s mobile tools for route planning, reporting, and communication.
Valid G license and clean driving record.
Passion for health, wellness, sustainability, and the Greenhouse mission.
