Job Description
Reporting to the Total Compensation Manager, the incumbent actively contributes to the development and implementation of policies and programs related to total compensation. The person acts as an internal consultant in resolving issues and answering questions related to total compensation. He or she contributes to various total compensation files.
Responsibilities
Actively contribute to the design, implementation and administration of programs, policies and processes related to total compensation (e.g., restructuring of salary scales, job architecture, employment conditions, HR policies and various incentive programs).
Act as an internal consultant in the resolution of compensation-related issues and act as a resource person on all issues related to total compensation for all levels of management).
Carry out files related to job evaluation, benchmarking, base salary determination, incentive and variable pay plans, and other total compensation programs.
Ensure the planning, coordination and execution of annual processes (salary reviews, payment of bonuses and other incentive compensation plans).
Develop and coordinate communications and promote total compensation.
Perform various analyses and contribute the continuous optimization of the compensation function.
Participate in the initiatives and various projects of the Total Rewards department and, when necessary, in employee benefits initiatives, according to the team’s needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or any other related field.
Minimum of 7 years of specialized experience in compensation.
Experience in employee benefits is an asset.
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Ability to coordinate several files at the same time and respect deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
Attention to detail and thoroughness.
Analytical, methodical and strategic skills.
Ability to work autonomously and independently.
